Heck yes. First round of the competition down, one more to go! My prepared speech was so good this year, I didn’t even need my index card of notes. I think that was my mistake last year. Having an index card made me more nervous. I just went with the flow this year. The judges were really nice. I had my interview and speeches with them. Today is the first Academic Decathlon competition of 2010! Speeches, interviews, and essays. I’m nervous about my speech. Everything is easy. Only time will tell though!
Gathering dust.
Jeez, it’s been a while. Guess I’ve been busy with school, especially with first semester finally over! It rained nonstop for like three days. It was wonderful. Only downside to rain is when I have to wipe my glasses after coming in to every class. I can’t wait until my mom agrees to getting me contacts. Wearing glasses sucks. The sun came out today though.
